Recently, the Jiangyin Market Supervision Bureau visited Kaichang to discuss measures for protecting trade secrets related to its series of smart individual-worn devices. Kaichang demonstrated three on-site measures: (1) All employees sign a “Confidentiality Agreement” upon joining the company, with those in core positions also signing a non-compete agreement; (2) Confidentiality policies are posted in the R&D and assembly areas to ensure unauthorized personnel are barred from entry and that document access is logged; (3) Prototypes and confidential equipment are labeled with confidentiality tags and managed via a “one device, one code” ledger system. The Municipal Market Supervision Bureau commended the “people + systems + physical security” three-pronged defense strategy and offered recommendations such as tiered protection measures. Kaichang will continue to strengthen its innovation moat, fully leverage teamwork and people-oriented management, roll up its sleeves and work hard, and remain fully committed to driving development.
